What to Expect During Your Discover Scuba Diving Experience

Even if it’s your first time underwater, we make it easy, safe, and unforgettable. Here’s exactly what your day will look like:

🧑‍🏫 1. Friendly Briefing on Land

Before you get in the water, your instructor will explain everything you need to know – from how the gear works to how to breathe and communicate underwater. No pressure, no tests – just clear, simple instructions.

🤿 2. Get Your Gear On

You’ll be fully equipped with a wetsuit, mask, fins, BCD, regulator, and tank. Everything is provided, fitted, and checked by your instructor for maximum comfort and safety.

🌊 3. Shallow Water Practice

You’ll enter the water gradually and practice breathing, floating, and clearing your mask in a shallow, calm area. This is where you get comfortable before the real adventure begins.

🐠 4. The Dive – Explore the Red Sea

Now the magic begins! With your instructor by your side the entire time, you’ll slowly descend to a depth of up to 6–12 meters, exploring coral reefs filled with life. See clownfish, lionfish, parrotfish, rays, and maybe even turtles!

🎥 5. Photos & Videos Included

Your dive will be captured by our underwater camera crew. You’ll receive high-quality pictures and videos so you can relive the experience and share it with friends and family.

💬 6. Debrief & Next Steps

After your dive, you’ll have time to relax, ask questions, and – if you’re hooked – learn how to take the next step toward your PADI Open Water Diver certification.

A Discover Scuba dive typically lasts about 30-40 minutes. Your DSD leader will explain how to monitor your breathing gas and the lowest acceptable level you can get to before calling an end to the dive.
